Terms of Sale | SnappingTurtle — Photo Gifts by Mail

By using SnappingTurtle's website, mobile application, or by completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. You must be at least 18 years of age to use SnappingTurtle.

The Service

SnappingTurtle allows you to select photographs, compose a personal message, provide a delivery address, and send physical printed photographs by mail through our fulfillment partner, Prodigi. The service is offered on a pay-per-send basis, with package sizes and pricing of $25 (5 photos), $35 (10 photos), or $50 (20 photos), plus applicable sales tax, domestic (U.S.) delivery only.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

The accuracy of every delivery address you provide. SnappingTurtle cannot redirect, recover, or replace mail sent to an incorrect address, and is not responsible for undeliverable mail resulting from an incorrect address you entered.
Ensuring you have the right to share and print any photographs you send through SnappingTurtle.
Ensuring the content of your personal message is lawful and does not constitute harassment, threats, or illegal content.
Keeping your address book PIN secure, if you use the mobile app. You are responsible for all activity under your own device.
Obtaining consent from photograph subjects before sending their images to third parties.

All Sales Are Final

Because every order is custom printed on demand specifically for you, all sales are final. We do not offer cash refunds, credit refunds, or store credit under any circumstances — including a change of mind, an incorrectly selected photo, or dissatisfaction with image quality resulting from the photos you submitted.

Shipping Damage or a Lost Package — Free Reprint Policy

If your package arrives physically damaged, or never arrives at all, we will issue a free reprint at no charge to you, subject to the following conditions:

After your order ships, our fulfillment partner provides a tracking number from a third-party shipping company. You are responsible for monitoring your shipment and verifying the actual time and date of delivery using that tracking information — available anytime at snappingturtle.app/track.html. Any shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of the actual delivery time and date, as confirmed by the third-party shipping company's tracking details, not an estimated date. If a package is not delivered at all, a lost-package claim may not be submitted earlier than 10 days after the package was received by the third-party shipping company, as evidenced in the tracking details.

You must submit a claim within 48 hours of your order's actual delivery date and time, as confirmed by the tracking details on our fulfillment partner's shipping carrier. Claims submitted before delivery is confirmed, or more than 48 hours after it, will not be accepted through the standard process. If your package has not arrived at all, a lost-package claim may be submitted no earlier than 10 days after the package was received by the shipping carrier, as evidenced in the tracking details.
For damage claims, you must provide clear photographs of the damaged product and the damaged or improperly sized packaging.
Only one reprint is permitted per order. A second reprint will not be issued.
Damage claims are not accepted for mail delivered through slotted openings where the envelope must be folded to fit.
Submitting a claim does not guarantee a reprint — every claim is reviewed by a person before approval.

To submit a claim, email customerservice@snappingturtle.app with your order number (begins with ST-), your name, a description of what happened, and photos of any damage.

Delivery Timeframes

SnappingTurtle does not guarantee specific delivery dates. Production and delivery typically take 10 to 15 business days from the date of order. Delays caused by our fulfillment partner or postal services are outside our control.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use SnappingTurtle to send:

Obscene, offensive, or sexually explicit content
Threatening or harassing messages
Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Unsolicited commercial advertising
Any content that violates applicable law

All photographs are screened for prohibited content using automated moderation before printing. If that screening cannot run for any reason, your order is held rather than printed unmoderated. We reserve the right to cancel orders containing prohibited content without refund.

Content Moderation

By submitting photographs through SnappingTurtle you acknowledge that they will be reviewed by automated content moderation software (Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch) to screen for prohibited content before printing. You are solely responsible for ensuring all submitted content complies with these terms.

Third-Party Services

SnappingTurtle uses Prodigi for print and mail fulfillment, Stripe for payment processing, Cloudinary for temporary image storage, and Google Cloud Vision for content moderation. Your use of these services is also subject to their own respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Chargeback Policy

By placing an order and checking the agreement box at checkout, you acknowledge that you have agreed to these Terms of Sale. If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer that is inconsistent with these terms, SnappingTurtle reserves the right to dispute the chargeback and submit your agreement and order records as evidence.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SnappingTurtle is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee specific delivery timeframes, as these are determined by our fulfillment partner and postal services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnappingTurtle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Intellectual Property

The SnappingTurtle name, logo, and all associated branding are the intellectual property of SnappingTurtle. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our branding without prior written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Sale at any time. Your continued use of SnappingTurtle after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
